Improved medical care
Other than the rehab center and the kid’s hospital, the general level of healthcare in this region is being taken with maximum seriousness. There has been a rise in private medical centers like Treasure Valley Family Medicine in Meridian, offering the best quality medical care to families at the best rates. Such medical centers have come in to make healthcare accessible by everyone, and this makes Treasure Valley an even more attractive place to live in.
The opening of a rehab center
Every region needs a rehab, and the Treasure Valley is lucky enough to finally have a rehab center meant to help those with drugs and other life-related crisis. The rehab center is intended to replace the 30-bed acute rehab center, which was located in the Saint Alphonsus hospital in Curtis. The Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is said to be 50,000-square foot, and can, therefore, accommodate up to 40 interested parties.
Improved neighborhood
For the longest time, Idaho has been one of the safest cities, and that has been a plus for anyone who wishes to move here. Other than security, things seem to be getting better, and the whole region is getting some improvements to make it more accommodating. Boise has about 21 projects underway, aimed at improving the neighborhood. Among these includes the public art in the Central Bench, playgrounds at elementary schools, bike racks, and lightings.
Opening of the children’s hospital
Idaho Elks Children’s pavilion hospital is one of the significant and exciting changes for the residents of Treasure Valley and the surrounding. The $42 million project is on the St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center and is connected to the old St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital by a sky bridge. This new center, which lies on a four-story pavilion, will be able to accommodate up to double of the patients that the old children’s hospital could.
Opening of the low-income apartments
The northwest Integrity Housing has put up 143 apartments in Fairview Ave, to help the low-income earners and make their lives more manageable. The units will be financially supported through tax credits, thus the low price. Tenants are expected to apply for the low-income apartments, and only the qualified will get in.
